Zoe Soaker — Super Easy and Stretchy — One Size fits Most
Another easy stretchy soaker, but this one involves a few stitch changes for a more form fitting soaker. One Size Fits Most with Waistband Folded down on smaller babies. Can easily be modified for more specific sizes.

Finishing off: Slip stitch sides together from top stitch down 30 stitches on each side.
If you want leg bands, you can attach your yarn and crochet leg bands of your choice. Even just simple SC in the round a few rows works great.
For Draw String, I usually use a single crochet chain about a yard long. If you want something simpler, you could use a simple chain, or even double up your yarn for a thicker chain to thread through the top eyelets of the soaker.
If you have any questions regarding this pattern, feel free to ask. This pattern is my original idea, and copyrights April, 2009 to me. Do not copy pattern as your own. Do not sell this pattern. Easiest Crochet Wool Soaker Pattern

This soaker pattern is the simplest of the simples to crochet. It is very economical, as it will fit most babies from start to finish, because it is so S-T-R-E-T-C-H-Y. For newborns, you can fold down the waist.
Even the most novice of crocheters can work it up in no time.
You will need:
250 yards Worsted Weight Wool Yarn
H hook
Understanding of HDC, Understanding of back loops, Understanding of Slip Stitch
———-
Chain 81 (You can chain more or less — this pattern is totally customizable)
Row 1: HDC in back loops of second ch from hook, and every ch across, ch 1 (80 HDC’s)
(Please Note: ch 1 never counts as a stitch throughout this pattern)
Row 2: HDC in back loops each HDC across, ch 1 (80 HDC’s)
Row 3-23: Repeat Row 2
To Finish Off, fold your soaker strip in half from left to right (Matching first stitch with last stitch). Slip stitch the sides together through 20 stitches leaving 40 stitches that are your leg holes. Repeat on the other side.
If you want leg bands, you can attach your yarn and crochet leg bands of your choice. Even just simple SC in the round a few rows works great.
For Draw String, I usually use a single crochet chain about a yard long. If you want something simpler, you could use a simple chain, or even double up your yarn for a thicker chain to thread through the top of the soaker.
If you have any questions regarding this pattern, feel free to ask. This pattern is my original idea, and belongs to me. Do not copy as your own. Do not sell this pattern. If you would like to make soakers from this pattern to sell, I give you permission, but if you intend to sell your item online, please be sure to include this link, that you used this free pattern in your listing.
Thanks!

Round Tunisian Dishcloths =
I love this mindless pattern. Sometimes you just need something you can crochet and not think. This little round tunisian dishcloth does that for me. I have been making these like crazy lately.
And for the proof:

ScribeFire FireFox add-on
Okay everyone… I am fully in love with this FireFox add-on for bloggers. How much EASIER can blogging get? This is much easier than using WordPress software, in my opinion. I am not fully sure what all this does, but there are buttons for inserting YouTube videos and pictures. This makes blogging easy. Even someone with several blogs can easily update their blogs using ScribeFire. I highly recommend giving it a try.
You can read more about it here:

Adding Fonts to Incredimail Letter Creator on Windows Vista
Having probs adding all fonts to Incredimail’s Letter Creator? Here is what I had to do…
Copy this:
C:\ProgramData\IncrediMail\Data
Click start button. Click RUN and paste that and click enter. A window should open. You will see two different font files. One is COMMONFONTS, and the other is FONTS. Delete everything on ‘em and save and it should work.
Update… Okay, I’m not sure if yours will do like mind did, but mine wouldn’t let me save. So, if yours does that, try this (it worked for me). When you get to C:\ProgramData\IncrediMail\Data open both the common fonts and the font file. Keep them open! While those are open, go to the C:\ProgramData\IncrediMail\Data page, and delete both the common fonts and the fonts file. Now, go back to the common fonts and fonts pages you opened and delete everything from both pages. Click FILE and SAVE as. Save one as fonts and one as commonfonts. It should work.
May 6, 2009 update: Please note that some who have tried this recently are having problems getting it to work. Please save a backup copy of your font files before you try this, because I cannot guarantee that it still works due to software changes. Thanks.

Google Complaint — If you have kids, you may want to read!
Okay, I know this is a crochet blog, but I became aware of something today, and thought I should share. Maybe other parents are not as naive as myself, or maybe they are smarter and already figured this out, but I honestly didn’t figure this out until earlier today.
Anyone who uses Google.com regularly may have noticed their new search feature. When you start typing your search, a list will come down with suggested things you may be searching for. It is really convenient and great – I love it. Many other search engines have this feature, and I know youtube.com does, as well. It seems like a good thing, and might save a person a couple of seconds of type time, but… BUT…. B U T! (okay new paragraph right here in the middle of this sentence….)
My children use Google.com often. They search for things for school. They search for music they like. They search for hairstyles. I trust them, for the most part. I know how to look and see where they have been, and they usually do not have anything questionable, and this has earned my trust. They are 9 and 11 years old, and their web history is generally very innocent. (Okay, now go back to finish the BUT paragraph)….
BUT……….. Today I was checking up on them, and found there had been a google search on “Tips for getting pregnant”. I was like WHAT???????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? I immediately questioned them about it, and they said they were typing “tips for”, and it was already there, so they clicked it, and YES, I believe them, because they hadn’t actually clicked on any of the provided links that search gave, BUT…. Do I REALLY want google or any search engine suggesting this type of search to my children??? NOOO WAY! I found a kid safe search engine through askjeeves. The link is askkids.com, and I instructed the girls to use that from now on. I also went to this link and wrote Google a personal complaint about this matter. Feel free to do the same if you please.
Just wanted to make everyone aware that Google.com and MANY other search engines have this feature now. It seems like a good thing. It seems convenient, but I really don’t want Google giving my children suggestions on what they should search. Consider yourself now aware — my job is done…
